REVIEW: NYX Studio Perfect Primer

A primer has never been something I have considered an essential within my makeup bag, however this one is definitely a game changer for me.

NYX offer a selection of primers, the studio perfect primer which I picked up comes in three different colours - clear 'to cover fine lines and large pores', green 'to conceal redness', and purple 'to brighten and illuminate yellow undertones'. I personally went for the green option since my main problem is the red marks left behind by my acne.

I found that this primer created a very smooth base for my foundation and made it much easier to apply and blend, it also definitely made my makeup last much longer without the need for any touch ups. The only downside to this primer is that I didn't really notice any reduction in my redness which I found to be quite disappointing. At only £10 it is reasonably priced, and definitely does make a difference to how well my makeup applies and lasts throughout the day.
